musings of life and laughter...composed between loads and loads of dirty laundry (which we will attempt to avoid airing here)... stories of trials and faith, of falling and rising, and of the steadfast arms of our strong, strong God.

- wife. mom. adjunct professor. we homeschool. i'm a little bit OCD. i love math. bright colors and geometric designs make me drool. we live with a medical rarity, and Jesus saved his life. through that, Jesus is changing us. The american dream and status quo is overrated...and sometimes just plain wrong. our lives, our family, our careers, our faith are all now filtered through a new lens-- thank you Jesus. welcome to our crazy. feel free to take some of it with you, we have plenty to go around.
It's not the load that breaks you down; it's the way you carry it.

Beautiful baby, beautiful mommy. "Lord, give Alisha a special measure of Your grace to face the day-to-day stuff -- the ups and downs of the numbers, the poop worries, the boredom, the longing for normalcy, the homesickness, and all the other things we can't even imagine. Lord, be with Brandon as he works and travels back and forth, and with Sawyer as he learns to adapt in his own 3-year-old way. Give them many assurances of Your love and care. In the name of Jesus, Amen." We love you.
